Atomyze LLC – Digital Tokenization Platform 

We are looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to support the company’s compliance program throughout the organization. The Senior Compliance Officer will report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer, assisting in all efforts to ensure that our blockchain tokenization platform and marketplace fulfills its compliance obligations, helping to grow the business and remain highly competitive. 

This is a hands-on position focused on the ongoing expansion and adherence of compliance policies for the organization and to support and provide compliance related advice on the day-to-day activities of the company, as well as on-going initiatives. As the compliance-subject expert, the Senior Compliance Officer is responsible for establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure that the compliance programs throughout the organization are effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting, and correcting noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations.  This is an incredible opportunity to join a fully funded, innovative, early-stage Fintech start up that will tokenize of real-world assets. 

Responsibilities

  • Work with other teams on Compliance projects related to Atomyze’s businesses
  • Oversee user onboarding (CIP, KYC for entities and individuals and AML)
  • Perform periodic enhanced reviews, related to transaction reporting and trade monitoring
  • Assist in preparing and filing of SARs
  • Assist with license application process (state-level MTLs, limited purpose trust, FCM, etc.)
  • Work on implementation, reviews, and updates of the firm’s compliance policies
  • Monitor the effectiveness of established compliance processes and controls and recommend and implement enhancements
  • Assist with regulatory and independent auditor inquiries and exams
  • Contribute to preparing training materials and delivering to company staff and the tracking of training completion; inclusive of annual policy sign-offs and trainings
  • Oversee compliance risk assessments, testing and monitoring programs in accordance with regulatory expectations and best practices
  • Conduct the preparation and distribution of quarterly and annual notices and filing to counterparties and regulators as required
  • Promote, protect, and set the compliant tone to reflect the firm’s reputation for ethics, integrity, and honesty in all dealings

 

Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant compliance experience a must, CAMS a plus
  • Prior compliance experience with MTLs and FinCEN required knowledge of NYDFS, CFTC, SEC, NFA or FINRA rules and regulations a plus
  • Solid understanding and experience with the commodities and/or blockchain industry
  • Demonstrated ability working with people in connection with challenging issues
  • Strong organization skills along with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong work ethic and hands-on approach
  • Skilled in research and interpretation of compliance regulations and laws
  • Comfortable working independently and in a collaborative environment
